The “Wine Spectator Restaurant Wine List Award”, also called the MichelinGuide in the field of wine, is an award for given out to restaurants around the world every year, presented by the global wine magazine “Wine Spectator,”which is issued in the United States of America. Wine Spectator was founded in 1976 and has introduced its“Restaurant Award” since 1981. The award is presented by judging the type and quantity of wine, range of assorted wine on the list, matching with menus, etc, and is divided into three levels: Award Of Excellence,Best Of Award Of Excellence and Grand Award.
Living Room achieved the“Award Of Excellence,” which recognizes restaurants whose wine lists typically offer at least 90 selectionsand feature a well-chosen assortment of quality producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. Whether compact or extensive, focused or diverse, these wine lists deliver appropriate choices to satisfy discerning wine lovers. This year, 2,335 restaurants achieved the Award of Excellence among 3,592 winners of all levels.
